Strengths

  • The college has all the potential to work for environmental sustainability
  • The college has some highly qualified teachers
  • The college has a good library having more than 20 Thousand books
  • The college comprises of active NSS wings for extension activities
  • The college shows notable performance in academic and cultural activities

Weaknesses

  • Poor student-teacher ratio
  • Inadequate ICT enabled class rooms and labs
  • Lack of hostel facilities for both boys and girls
  • Lack of staff quarters
  • Lack of properly developed indoor sports facilities
  • Lack of science labs for the Post-Graduate Programmes in the college

Opportunities

  • Enhancing industry linkages in order to inculcate professional value system among students
  • Establishing the placement cell for providing greater employability skills among students
  • Engaging Alumni in a more tangible way

  • Engage Alumni and all the stakeholders in a more tangible way
  • Provide a language lab to enhance the communication skills of the students
  • Establishment of computer labs and enhancement of teacher student ratio
  • Motivate faculty to publish research papers in national & International journals approved by UGC and preferably with good impact factors
  • Attract external funding to provide a push to research and developmental activities on the campus
  • Expansion of Academic Programmes should be considered keeping in view the requirements of the area
  • The campus must be Wi-Fi enabled
  • Staff quarters and hostels for boys and girls should be established
  • Digitalization of library should be made in order to enhance access to the stakeholders
